Since 26Dec last year, the S&P500 has retraced 13pc but our XJO has only dropped 5.5pc, and that's an amazing outperformance.
How do you want to see this?
You can see this as we have a resilient ASX that is riding high on commodities and therefore the relative outperformance is justifiable. OR
You can see as a temporary out of place misguided faith that ASX should warrant an almost 2.5x outperformance relative to S&P500 and that remains a great opportunity to exit before it realigns with its international counterparts.
It's a decision one makes based on what you now see or what you can anticipate ahead.
Back in 2019, 2020, it is often heard disgruntled echoes that our ASX must always do worse than the US market, but the tables have turn. Has it or will it CONTINUE?
