Well, this is from the news when WBT achieved the 28nm milestone last year. I did not pay too much attention abou the name of Globalfoundries is in there. Just thought that is just something in the field anyway. Then when we have this 22nm FDSOI announced today, this gets interesting.

The capacity of their 22nm array is growing and also they do not mention the 1T1R construct anymore. The team must be incorperating the 1S1R construct into 22nm ReRam array, very possible with new patent(s) pending ATM. By the previous mentioned size of WBT's reram bit with the selector, the smallest bitcell can be as tiny as 4F2 and if that is by the 22nm size, a flash drive like this
can be in the terribyte level (1000x G level) in the not far future, and 1000 time faster, 100X less energy consuming, 100X more durable.
