haka, I don't think we need to place tooooo much concern the intial low volume cost. How much did the first Plasma screens cost? How much are they now? Any revolution in household appliance technology is going to be expensive at its inception, but prices will inevitably drop (significantly) as the technology becomes more common and production volumes increase
