It says that the facility was sold for a 1/3rd of the purchase price... not 4%. $260M refers to a facility in Medicine Hat (Alberta) which is in a different location to the one referenced earlier in the article which is in Exeter (Ontario).
Funny, it looks like there are two different articles or at least a gap in the article there... hope that wasn't intentional amb005?
Canada has had some serious issues with how legalization was carried out for cannabis - this has resulted in a boom bust scenario, particularly in the recreational space. Thus why these big companies are selling off assets, nearly every man and his dog has a license to grow weed.
This isn't the case in Australia.
