When you start tallying up the criteria for a new CEO for 4DS:
1. Experienced in DRAM/exposed to potential buyers 2. Has form in negotiating and closing liquidity events 3. Isn't in a conflict of interest position (essentially, basically employed by) with companies from point 1. So you're looking at people "in retirement." lots of CEOs in tech seems to "come out of retirement" - which says to me - they are enjoying a spot of contractually obligated gardening leave before they start their next job.
The intersection area on that Venn Diagram would be vanishingly small - probably only 2 or 3 people tops. Look how long it took BRN to find a new CEO. If one of your short list comes up, you'd have to be pretty fast to get the new contract inked.
