You might well be 100% on the money there @Mcdunk by saying this TO (if it does go ahead as I don't think it's a done deal yet) judging by today's ann by HHI, well, it's really about their German subsidiary CanPharma.
What interests me mostly about it is the following :-
CanPharma is one of the few German cannabis companies eligible for the schemes due to its GMP manufacturing licence. Under the agreements, CanPharma will be a preferred supplier to the funds for a selection of its CanPharma branded flowers and extracts
So, if CanPharma's (selected) branded flowers and extracts were compatible to being used in the manufacture of Hope1, Hope2 and Zenivol, I'd imagine German health insurers could allow the 25-29% rebate for their clients which would be a big boost.
Just a shot-in-the-dark but it could, as you say, "open a lot of doors".
