I appreciate what you say but there is a big "what if" left out of the equation.
What if there was a collapse of the fiat monetary system? I have read that some gurus predict exactly that. Look at the unbelievable and increasing levels of US debt. There is talk that the gold carry trade with bullion banks is set to explode with horrific consequences.
I am not sure whether I fully agree with the GATA conspiratorial theories but there sure seems to be "something rotten in the state of Denmark" (to coin a phrase)
Times are indeed uncertain ... I don't purport to have the anwers but I sure have heaps of questions.
