This was $21.67 on 8 March- up nearly 10%- so you can forgive some profit taking.
Today is high volume for WBC- and SP barely changing- so I guess that enough punters are still buying on higher interest rates equals higher bank profits- too satisfy the profit takers.
Other than that, the usual conflict between high consequence and low probability events and general positioning for opening up etc.
Something like that.
