one of the reasons I think the dividend could be high, is that whsp as the largest shareholder and with the chairman, will be very keen to see a big wad of fully franked cash to deploy into other investments.
rightly or wrongly, it would seem whsp have a long term strategy to reduce exposure to nhc, and the best way to achieve that is distribute as much as possible back out to shareholders as dividends.
I do agree, the convertible note is complication.
