This stock gives you exposure to met coal not thermal coal which have a negative perception to the public and ESG investors. Met coal IMO is critical to the development of economies because its used as a feedstock in steel production or more precisely the blast furnace method of steel production. The risk here would be the increasing adoption of electric arc process which management think will continue to increase overtime but won't overtake blast furnace in the medium term.
Also they are the lowest cost port terminal for their clients in the central Bowen Basin so I'm quite confident they'll be able to negotiate a much better rate vs the pricing under the QCA Act.
