Wrong thread but don't ever buy for the long term and don't just follow what some analysts say, doesn't matter how famous they are, learn to read charts, when starting out only buy stocks in an uptrend and no more than 5% of your capital in each stock and cut them if they stop performing, even just following those few rules will let you last a lot longer buy which time you will have learned more. Will take a few years spending a few hrs a day learning to really get anywhere, losing money is also part of the learning experience.
