There is a major problem in Victoria of theft to order
from the details of the gun registry.
There is growing unease in gun club community about registering your
guns, rifles and pistols.
Mine are registered as there is no issue -
I don't have engraved Purdeys, or gold embellished rifles.
A growing number of shooters have unregistered firearms.
Who knows what's behind the steel door of the safe?
Some trapshooters have very expensive guns.
Dozens have been stolen from incredibly secure locations.
The thieves have a detailed map of access.
In many cases, Vic Pol have carried out a "firearms inspection"
within a month of the robbery.
The properties must be watched, as in every case the owners are away
at the time - sometimes for only a few hours.
So it seems, if you want a fancy engraved shotgun, or special
.338 Lapua, get a "friend" to scan the Vic Gun Registry and order it.
