How the passage of time can change things. Even with two years life left with the options, you'd be game to buy options now when you can get more than double the discount offered via the options ($1.80 less 7.5% = $1.66) by purchasing on market at $1.49.
(Disclosure: my current option holdings is worth less than on-line minimum brokerage).
