Correct me If I am wrong, but I seem to recall you and @FlashPoint having a history of having a go at each other and I will not get involved there lol... But I find it difficult to let the implication that only a bad trader would have taken a position today slide... I'll leave myself and the way I make my living out of this, but you must realize that you just negated the strategy used by some of the world's most successful traders - breakout trading. Anyone who has taken trading seriously and looked beyond their own horizon knows that there are many ways to skin a cat when comes to trading. No one strategy or methodology when used with stop losses and targets are even close to 100% accurate, nor do they need to be very profitable. Some will work when others don't and vice versa and are not a contradiction in the larger picture of trading as a money-making operation. True investing is another topic... Quite possible you are well aware of that and just taking the opportunity for some jesting but for the sake of bystanders I had to comment, so please forgive me. Best of luck and well done on a good trade.
