Thanks pjsimon. I know Casey research have been tipping geothermal for a while now. What is positive about this latest piece is it seems they are starting to back EGS plays as I know in 2008 Marin was suggesting to stick to conventional plays as they have cheaper start up costs and are proven. Certainly a positive if Casey research has decided EGS is now worth backing too.
Must say EGS plays are very tempting. Given the risk they have much lower market caps for the potential they show compared to conventional plays overseas which trade at much higher multiples. The tough part is decided which play has the highest chance of success, something that I have looked into for months now and still finding it hard to pick a winner.
