Checking Gunns annual report, pages 14 & 15 in particular,
the value of the re-growth and native forest gns owns in State of Tas alone, absorbs 1/3rd of that States green house gases produced!

Imagine how on a global scale, the plantation of further forests will aid in the reduction of our greenhoue gas emissions!

    Interesting read.
Maybe our Pollies need to push for the MIS scheme ~ harder than currently experiencing.

Also, on the value of gunns forestry holding alone:
based on Timbercorps sale to GFP (U.S. based co) back in Oct, where they paid $345m for the 93,000ha, gunns 210,000ha of plantation, or 275,000ha of total forest holding, values our co at between $777mil - $1,017mil on the forestry assets alone!
With current cap value at $0.915c of some $738mil,

I'd say we have quite some 'growth' to come, and may come quickly, once 'the penny drops'.

Trust the week will fare well.

    Cheers :)
