hmmm. I actually have some FYI from OCT 21 that is down 56%. With what I have bought before and since, I am down 22% overall. There are many approaches to the ASX resource sector; I favor one that does not include blowing my wad on any one move; I always move less than I want so I have room for further moves. I will sell/buy as little as 1% of a position to reallocate amongst my chosen few. I suppose one could say that such moderation is evidence of uncertainty and not likely to win big; I agree on both counts and yet it works very well for me (~100% returns last three years; that beats the S&P handily)
I look for big upsides and then filter for lower downside. I look for growing companies with a potential for disrupting growing markets whether established or not. I look for smart and yet collaborative strategy. And of course a bad-ass resource to back up long term growth and development of increasingly profitable IP.
FYI checks every box for me. So I do invest further.
