Hi Weally,
I'm still a little puzzled. If the drill core's were 1.4m in length then the maths would work for them to be the reported upper pegmatite intersection. 15 lengths of 1.4m is 21m. The non-spod material goes to the end of what I'm guessing is tray 54 with the intersection starting in tray 55. The down-hole depths for GTDD-22-0003 are about right as 1.4m * 3 * 54 = 227m which is pretty close to the reported starting depth of 231m.
Photos can be deceiving, but those DD lengths sure do look a lot longer than 1.4m. If they are longer than that, then the maths for it being the upper pegmatite starts to get out of wack. Have we got shorter lengths than the 2.5m normal you note, or do we have a quirky fluke that around 400m down, there's a 36m intersection with both the depth and length of the lower strike being consistent with 1.4m DD core's from the upper pegmatite strike?
