Absolutely agree that Apus may well be a tipping point.
My general concern is that if Apus is great and Santos decide to ramp up the Bedout, CVN could lose control of the 'agenda'. To date, CVN have been at the fore front of the exploration plans, and therefore can plan their finances to marry the program. If Santos want to 'take charge' they may force a program schedule that CVN has to 'chase', and that can create all sorts of problems if your not well-funded in advance. And don't expect STO to do us favours either!
Oh, and these wells are worth well north of $20mm each....I'm a bit out of date, but I'm sure others can help here.....say 3500m expln well on a jack-up? Anyone?
