I'm not exactly sure where you are coming from Diligent, but I suspect you are talking about 'The Emperor's New Clothes' by Hans Christian Anderson (also famous for The Ugly Duckling and others). As far as I know and have read, the King wore his clothes the whole time during Alice In Wonderland by C. S. Lewis. C. S. Lewis being a person of good moral character never had any naughty bits in his stories... at all. ;-)
And your post was removed for being racist. In addition you might check why the Dark Ages were called the Dark Ages, as I suspect you may find that the Aborigines were far more civilised than most European or Western cultures during those barbaric times.
Snuff, if Australia were discovered today, we may take a very different view on importing rabbits and foxes for fox hunting, as well as countless other species for various reasons. Even the ubiquitous cane toad would not get a foot in the door.
And if the Dutch had actually thought to go around to the East Coast instead of the West Coast (and let's face it, The Netherlands and England aren't that far apart from each other at the start of that journey) we could all be speaking Dutch and eating salted licorice, pea soup and lots more Edam and Gouda.
I simply cannot accept that a European presence has been entirely beneficial to either the indigenous population nor the land itself, nor do I believe that a 'we saved them otherwise they'd be worse off' approach is acceptable.
Cheers,
