Agree with all your points.
I think some folks get a little bit ahead of themselves... Yea long term China, India, Brazil, yada, yada... Was all said many times before the world collapsed in '07.
Just because there is "all this future demand" doesn't mean that people going long those resources can't have the guts kicked out of them several times between now and then.
