It ultimately comes down to the bids - Sonangol needs cash and the 8 blocks up for sale are either lower profitable or higher exploration costs for them. Sonangol wants to get rid of these to invest in more profitable assets. IMO ultimately it’s going to come down to who can guarantee Sonangol the most cash with least risk. AK is a shrewd numbers man and negotiator and Serge has the expertise, experience and contacts in this field. without majors bidding I strongly believe that’s why we will win it - we will put the best bid forward. the competition is not that strong and geopolitics now comes into play too. REsearching the others I believe ROG has a better chance than many - and as it’s been mentioned before we could even partner with other bidders. How shrewd a negotiator is AK and Serge and how deep do Serges contacts go? I reckon a winning bid
