I'm not so sure the Angola story will be sorted anytime soon because of the Ukraine crisis.
In the UN vote on Wednesday, Angola abstained as one of the 1/3 minority not condemning Russia/Putin so I find it difficult to believe the current Angolan Gov would award anything to a Western-aligned energy company.
"The UN vote condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and easily surpassed the two-thirds majority required to be approved.The resolution “deplores in the strongest terms the aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine” and “demands” that Russia “unconditionally withdraws all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine.It also condemns “all violations of international humanitarian law and violations and abuses of human rights” during the conflict."
