RNU objects to EGR's purification Patent application, page-86

EGR has applied for a patent over the process, they haven't been granted one yet have they, if not, there is no guarantee it will be granted either. From my limited experience in applying for a patent for a UG mining process , the Patent solicitor asked is this something unique you have developed, it wasn't , it was off the shelf products put together well but could be copied by oneone wanting to. Solicitors view was you won;t be granted a patent. Is EGR's process unique and not know beforehand, if not is it certain they will be granted a patent. I can understand RNU objecting, if a patentr was granted on a process that is similar ro our , RNU would be put in a positon to apy royalies or denied the process IMO.
