lol on this point you are totally correct.
Few fund managers are holding the stocks that are outperforming in 2022.
In 2021, who could blame them, if they had held, they would have a lot of difficultly justifying the positions. Their clients/marketing department etc etc would all be having tizzy fits.
For myself all these 'no-go' shares that are giving me my 2022 portfolio excess return. Oil/tobacco/China-non tech.
But then I manage my own capital, I don't report to anyone and am not accountable to anyone.
Was it foresight on my behalf: no!!! I didn't know they would run. I just looked at the fundamentals, and did a risk analysis, and the numbers stacked.
But this issue won't just apply to MFG, it will also be applying to many of the other fund managers.
Lol by the way did anyone notice that US Congress members personal share transactions are out performing hedge funds on their share/option placements and trades Now that's the real game I would like in, all return and no risk, I wonder why??
