Because, Mr Thrifty there seem to be a host of lemmings posting at the moment.
I've come to the conclusion that BMN has been very conservative with its PFS and has put forward an OPEX level at the 30% + outlier level. BMN, with a strip ratio of under 4:1, have allowed 22-23/lb just for mining their ore. In contrast EXT in their August scoping study talked about mining OPEX of half this - notwithstanding their higher strip ratio of 5:1. BMN have estimated processing costs of 15/b - this is where EXTs better grade would show - but their mining opex should be similar to EXT (their lower strip ratio offsetting their smaller throughput). So I think it is quite possible BMN have $10/lb costs to play with viz a vis EXT and we could see a DFS opex number come in around $30/lb - closer to that previously anticipated.

    Informed suggestions welcome!
