    Agree MP, there may be significant waste in seeding the juniors and it is true that Lynas deserves to be part of any new development money. Perhaps the government feels it make more sense to foster new growth in addition to the successful Lynas who’s destiny is pretty clear…

    Funding additional sources of RE’s will solidify Australia’s position in the world as a critical materials provider and with more sources of RE’s available to the platform designers, we will see decisions being made at the engineering level to incorporate RE’s into new technology. One of the most important considerations in developing new technology is material availability and the mitigation of "demand destruction" by having multiple sources of critical materials available…

    At the end of the day I feel the government has more than helped Lynas by fast tracking and creating a fairly hassle free business environment in Kalgoorlie. It is too bad we didn’t get any money but $30m would just be a token (to avoid the likes of Fuzzy) and I for one am appreciating the fact that the political end of things is under control…. JMHO…
