macron has always felt the ability to have his own opinion. Same with Merkel. It’s only you that seems to equate compliance and complete agreement as necessary and a precondition of membership of NATO. Grown ups are ok with disagreement and don’t think it necessary to act out their fantasies or invade when someone doesn’t agree with them
