Why invest in any bank? Their business models are all highly leveraged and most of the assets that they have a lean over on their loans will be seriously devalued over the next couple of years. There might be another year or two before the credit/housing bubble really unwinds with a vengeance but when it does the lending game will be about the worst game to be in.
I think most if not all of the banks have raised capital... they're investing in cash and it's a very good idea.
