My thought is when they raised all the cash, they did so in case they didn't strike oil.
It leaves them cashed up for other opportunities. They have plenty in the bank and some revenue generating production at Longhorn, so all is not lost.
Sell on open if you wish, average down if you wish, shares trading/gambling will always provide another chance somewhere.(general comment not aimed at you).
Just my thoughts.
