I have a client with ~3M portfolio, in his 60s smart guy for his industry, but he does the same thing - he will NEVER sell shares at a loss. If a stock doesn’t perform, he will wait even for an eternity (or never) for it to break even then sell it off, probably at the time that it finally resolved it problems and had some prospects. crazy strategy imho. Lucky he is rich and has good contacts

it just shows human psychology. To make money in the markets you must go against these natural human responses.
