Past failure in drilling is not necessarily an indicator of the future. All explorers can do is analyse and cross their fingers. It just takes one good well. Some explorers get a hole in one, others take many bites of the cherry. At the end of the day, buy and sell as you wish but my personal opinion is im in no rush with spec stocks.
