IMO - these make sense --- they are tiny -

but, if one thinks about why one needs or wants a car in a city or near suburb --- you want perhaps personal transport - because you don't like public - or it isn't convenient

you want to be dry and out of the wind - you don't want a bike, you don't want to wear a helmet. You want to be able to carry a few bags of groceries.

You want cheap, you want small, you have a tiny garage, you would like to be able to carry a friend - for going for coffee or dinner etc.

to me - I could see this as a really good solution for a lot of places.

Have this at home - and, for 98% of your 4 wheel needs -- perhaps have a scooter as something else at home - or a bike.

Then, if you want to go out of town - down to another town on occasion - maybe every few months - then, you hire for a day.

Where I am - I hire a car on occasion - it's about 7 to 8 bucks Oz a day - plus mileage ----- because I go out of town so rarely - it's cheap.

For city type life --- owning a full sized car isn't really necessary - it's no wonder that a lot of young people aren't even getting licences these days ------- I think the days of ownership of normal cars is coming to a pretty rapid close in many areas
