For 40 years I have observed opportunity is most available when all the "experts" and their clients are on one of a trade after the horse has bolted.
I suspect a year or so ago, each of the same brokers would have had a hold/accumulate/market weight weighting. Hehehe, they, like politicians survive on the masses having short memories. Although I am often referred to as a dinosaur, I view myself more as a long surviving elephant.
I am very comforted by the dismal forecasts of brokers quite comfortable with my accumulations during the course of the MFG SP "crisis". If I am around in 3 or 4 years I would be interested to revisit all views on this stock, allowing for the global recession which in my view will commence later this year and be evident in H1, 2023. This of course will lead to a re-rating of all stocks and a serious slide in all indices, the wake up call that will shock many.
