The other two went over to Victoria and set up Stavely but just recently they've come back to WA for a nibble with a company called E79, which has blocks near where Ramelius acquired Rebecca and an asset to the south of Gascoyne's Glenburgh (not close close, just regional close).

Also I suspect / fear that Ramelius has other fish other than Gascoyne to fry. They have just set up a working capital facility for up to $100m which suggests that they are about to use much / most of their existing $160m kitty to buy something. I'm guessing that about $200m would snag Gascoyne and most GCY holders would accept some RMS scrip as consideration so Ramelius would need nothing close to $160m cash to buy Gascoyne. If that is the case I think it is a shame as acquiring the Dalgaranga mill would have given Ramelius a real sugar hit. If Ramelius is written out of the script then I would prefer Simon Lawson go it alone with Gascoyne then hooking Gascoyne up to a Westgold that really needs a heavy prune.
