A fair comment, but that's not really my point.
It doesn't really matter whether it's a good investment or a bad one, or whether I think that JH can pick a good mining stock because of his industry knowledge... if JH wants to start an investment advisory service on the side, more power to him - and put me on the mailing list!
My point is that CTP is not an investment vehicle, or a managed fund. I invested in CTP because I specifically like their story - the fact that the directors of the company like the story of another company is something they can act upon with their own money if they like.
Please note that this is not a criticism specifically of CTP - it's applicable to listed companies across the board.
