Dear me... such a lot of fuss about nothing - you seem to be forgetting that incoming, outgoing, changing government or staying with the same government, it's still politicians that we're talking about. All sorts of nonsense will be proposed, discussed and referred to committees by these mediocre windbags... nothing will actually happen, no real or actual change will occur.
Politics is all about offering every support to any range of ideas or people or groups, short of actually doing anything.... just appear to be involved, appear to care, anything to shut them up and not let them see that nothing can be done, least of all by the ego driven halfwits who populate political chambers....
A look at history shows that stockmarkets rise over time in most countries despite political incompetence and no matter who thinks they are running the show and all politicians, of all stripes, disappear without a trace sooner or later but business and markets and profits rise relentlessly and go on regardless....
