Looking at recent trading, it seems to me that despite a fair bit of effort, the shorts & traders are finding it difficult to pick up shares at this price level to retire their short positions, apart from the rebalance windfall on the 18th (that is shares that they haven't sold to themselves) and are finding it increasingly difficult to keep a lid on the SP. Good post dachopper, but I don't think you are going to get your wish!
