Hi Davy. I think ‘go it alone’ is virtually no chance of happening.
My thoughts only, but I reckon they want Cluff involved for potential development assistance. The main flag I see with Cluff is their funding. The announcement this week said the extension would allow Cluff to finalise additional funding requirements. I hope they have ready access to funds, but how financial are they?
Reading between the lines with Stuart’s comments I believe we will have Cluff and another partner. Terms will have to improve based on the new land and the updated seismic once it’s released.
Agree with you and 7 that the WI will be important post any discovery. If we can have 2 partners funding at least 80% of costs for no more than 40% of the WI combined, that leaves us 40% and One Gas 20%. Even if the Sovereign Wealth Fund takes their 10% we would still have our 30%.
