Unfortunately ASX prevented inclusion of most financial and production metrics from the scoping study results announced 16 September 2021; however we were able to state that the open pit optimisations were undertaken using a lithium carbonate price of US$11,000/tonne (currently ~$20,000) and that the economic model prepared as part of the scoping study was positive and justified Jindalee’s continued investment in the project.

The next steps at McDermitt are to complete infill drilling to convert inferred resource to indicated status (which should allow release of more detailed financial and production metrics for the project) and further metallurgical testwork, which is the key to unlocking the value at McDermitt. We will also undertake environmental base line studies early 2022 and all of this work will feed into more detailed studies (PFS etc).
