I agree with much of what is posted on this thread.
It is not so long ago that I made a bundle on the insurance share AVIVA (FTSE 100) The reason: AVIVA were the first company to use the new accounting rules - this resulted in figures that when directly compared to its peers were poor - "the market" failed to recognise this and, failing to recognise the two different accounting criteria, AVIVA's sp was hammered.

BMN is faced, imho, with "the U market" using the wrong criteria to value it (BMN) against it's peers as is alluded to by presto, skip, redbeard et all in this thread.

In the case of AVIVA the accounting procedure anomolies were quickly cauhgt on to by "the experts" who eventually recognised the errors of their ways, and the price bounced back.

BMN also will eventually bounce back once the "U experts" recognise the errors of their ways - but do not expect the bounce to be as quick (more of a crawl probably) as there are far less "experts" pouring over BMN - apart of course from some of us PIs and the mining companies who want to get the lbs in the ground on the cheap - don't expect them (the mining cos) to set the situation straight though as it is not in their interests and they will do everything in their power to suppress it.
