perhaps you mean the shares themselves will be extremely volatile as well? Perhaps. Yesterday the NZX shares started at about 80c which was consistent with the previous days trading having lost the rights attached. The price then rose dramatically to over a dollar, with no new information to market. What's your explanation for this if it's not confusion over rights dates and reference prices on the NZX being incorrect?
