I think we have to be cynical. Coburn should be printing cash shortly IF everything ramps up and commissions according to plan. Lot of tonnes to bang through the dozer trap, spirals and dry plant. Very high recoveries from new tech may r may not work to spec or need tweaking... in fact many things may need tweaking and de-bottle necking etc. Seems very strange to pre-empt commissioning with a new expansion plan, spend extra capex during the mother of all WA cost inflation booms... very strange indeed.

I initially had similar concerns on the ramp up, particularly with the tonnages they need to put through the dozer traps and WCP. However, they are starting on a higher grade core, which should buy them the time they need to iron out potential issues in the front end of the plant.
