Not exactly correct.
The pension received is not taxed however the earnings within the fund is still tax during a TTR.
The 1.6m mentioned is now 1.7m per member, being a transfer balance cap.
Amounts over this cap are taxed at 15% on earnings and 10% on capital gains.
