Sorry to be a downer but with solar cells on that you would likely only get enough electricity for a hand full of mobility scooters running at 15 kph and then only when the sun is out.

The whole point is that Anteo's battery tech may be instrumental in allowing a truck that size to generate enough power from batteries that it can run at highway speed and up hills without the batteries weighing almost as much as the payload. Those batteries would need to be charged from VAST arrays of PV panels (including the panels with excess capacity distributed on the grid already).

I think occasionally in our enthusiasm we get the engineering scale a little out of proportion.
