I as going to post this last night, but got caught up in looking over another company's financials...
Simpleton metrics, and then decide your own entry point:
How many shares currently on offer?
How many more will need to be offered before the facilities are completed [dilution?]?
What will be both the mc and shares outstanding by then?
What do the numbers look like to push the stock to $1?
Rate of interest on borrowings?
How much will the company earn each year, after tax, and for how long?
How much will it cost to biuld? [add 25% for cost overruns, which WILL happen, and infaltionary pressures?]
Have directorship, managerial and genera office management costs been factored in to the numbers? [often around 25%, which is a lot when not factored in to the whole balance sheet.,
OPPORTUNITY COST?
How long do you hold, and at what level, before you see a return on your OWN investment?
Can you buy and put in the bottom drawer, or do you trade other stocks, and then re-visit a new entry?
Do you take the risk now, then free carry at another time? [or buy and hold in it's entirety for a measurable term, like 10 years, etc...]?
BARRIERS TO ENTRY TO OTHER COMPANIES?
Market availability of current produce?
Time required/ BFS?
Environmental/ required building reports , completion times?
Offtakes/MOU's?
Political and economic stability?
Geographical supply logistics?
Local/ federal government assistance?
Compliance?
MARKET CONDITIONS:
XJO is hot, and looks to want a pullback, then will the trend then resume to the upside?
Materials index, longer term.
SO MANY variables, and this is about as simple as you can get.
Accounting procedures for a listed company are very complex, and can be often be reported in many ways, to show a certain outcome...
I TRY to keep it as simple as possible, in order to try and figure an entry, or exit, point, to suit my own personal finances and preferred outcomes. [ and even then I get it wrong , much of the time. ;( ]
Best of luck with your OWN calculations and trade wisely.
