Yes I have seen this quiet "f*ck you" attitude towards customers from flight attendants in the air.
Im not sure if it is a broader cultural problem or if it is reserved for QAN but the international airline experience is much better.
I can see QAN being bought out by the government for a large substantial holding as a bail out package.
Maybe a 40% ownership stake for new shares at $2 per share as a guess? It has happened before, see AIG bailout in 2008.
QAN may be seen as "too big to fail" by the government due to its broad flight coverage and name badge as "the national carrier".
This could warrant a bailout in the eyes of the government.
This would be better for current shareholders than being handed over to the likes of Bain Capital, like a carcass to the butcher.
