Also,in both the Investors Presentation (August 09) and the AGM Presentation (November 09) the wording regarding ODS was:
upcoming events: ORPHAN DRUG DESIGNATION
ie, there was NEVER ANY MENTION of any ODS application except when martin mentioned it as an 'application and designation' event during the presntations.
I guess we all wrongly assumed that there would be an announcement when they sent the application in.
It doesn't really matter IMO since now we have been given a very pleasant surprise in the short time before designation occurs!
