The US releasing a third of their reserves is borrowing from the future, something else to consider? were their reserves updated to meet the current World environment prior to the release? perhaps not, at some point I expect the US will need to rebuild their reserves - all this begs the question, is the recent pullback in fossil fuel pricing artificial?
I suspect it is & the market hasn't forward looked into future fossil fuel pricing levers!!!?
