Don't say too many prayers for the rural sector..it is in pretty good shape, commodity and land prices are almost embarrassing! I'm in Southern Qld.
3 good crops in a row...suspect 70's , maybe 60's... yes and we often get the opposite cropping conditions to West Australia , which also seems that happened in the flounder because we got a mild summer and they got a hot one!
heavy soil country has enough moisture to nearly guarantee some sort of crop...with just moderate winter rain it could be good crop on this country...not sure of proportion heavy soil versus light in nsw and Vic..... suspect in NSW it is a majority.
But lots double cropping going to happen in nth nsw and Qld, will help hold up tonnages.

this is transformational for Graincorp, but I hope they give staff one off bonuses rather than increase wages across the board...they still don't look dear on a market cap versus ebitda level
and the insurance policy makes them a bit more like a utility in dry tears, plus the policy should not be hard to renew in a few years time, given the way it has turned out for the insurance company
